About Allison

M. Allison Beezer, CFA, started her investment career in October 1987, just weeks after the “Black Monday” one-day crash. She has since navigated with clients through the tech bubble, 9/11 and the terrorism threat, and the housing crisis — she is a seasoned investor. This is valuable experience that doesn’t come from text books. But she also did her share of academics, as well. The Chartered Financial Analyst designation is a mark of distinction for portfolio managers and security analysts. She earned her MBA at Cornell University, and an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Santa Clara. She is a member of CFA Institute, CFA Seattle and GSBA.

Allison volunteers extensively and had particular success volunteering for Pride Foundation to help change corporate non-discrimination policies at major US companies. She was instrumental in strengthening non-discrimination policies at McDonalds, General Electric and Wal-Mart, among other companies. For this work, she and Pride Foundation were honored with a Special Recognition Award from GSBA in Seattle, and she was honored personally as a finalist for the Thomas C Wales Award for Passionate Citizenship.

When Allison’s not at the office, she particularly enjoys day hiking, birding, travel and photography.
